Korea International School (KIS) is a private, non-profit, and nonsectarian institution that delivers a fully WASC-accredited PK-12 education. Renowned as a high-achieving college preparatory school. The school has experienced significant growth, culminating in the opening of a new campus in Pangyo/Bundang in 2006.

CURRICULUM

Korea International School (KIS) provides an extensive, college-preparatory curriculum, including a growing AP program initiated in 2005-2006 with four classes, now expanded to twenty-five. Elective classes like Web Design, Video Production, Theater, Concert Choir, Psychology, Sociology, Creative Writing, and Contemporary Global Issues offer diverse experiences.

For the elementary curriculum (PK-5), KIS focuses on developing foundational skills, attitudes, and a lifelong love of learning. Beyond academics, the arts, student activities, and athletics are emphasized to foster problem-solving, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills. The school remains committed to providing internationally-minded applied learning opportunities.

Aligned with founding principles, KIS prepares students for global challenges through applied learning. It encourages the discovery of personal talents and strengths.
